NEW NIPPER FAMILIES
Please view our ‘Frequently Asked Questions‘ before proceeding with your membership.
Please follow the instructions on the joining page. At least one parent needs to join online (want to join – my family) as an Active or Associate Member. You will then be given the option at the end to pay.

Once registration is complete, please submit a copy of your child’s birth certificate/passport for birth-date verification to this form.

Pool Swim Evaluation
All nippers must complete a pool swim evaluation.
If you are in swimming lessons, your swim instructor may be able to sign off on your pool swim using this form.
If you are not in swimming lessons, you will need attend one of the public pools and book in a swim session to be signed off.
Please email the signed pool swim into the office – admin@northburleighslsc.com.au. We do not accept papers forms.
Ocean Swim Evaluation
All nippers are required to complete an ocean swim proficiency.
This is a SLSQ requirement.
Ocean swim proficiency’s can be done on Nipper Sunday.
All Nippers: you must have completed your pool evaluation and paid your membership fees before you head to the beach. No exceptions. You also must bring your North Burleigh pink rashie/singlet and nipper cap
Nipper Uniforms
Can be purchased from the club Uniform shop on Nipper Sundays 7:30am – 8:30am.
Club caps and Hi-vis rashies are compulsory on Sunday Activities, no cap or rashie means no play. We encourage all nippers to wear the club swimwear on Sundays as it enhances their feeling of belonging to the club. Club swimwear, cap and rashies are compulsory when competing at carnivals.
Existing Members/Renewing Members
You can renew online through your Members Area account.
Nipper parents, please remember to renew your membership as well as your child’s nipper’s membership.
All nippers must have at least one parent as a member of the club.
If you have a new member/nipper joining,
Create a membership for them via Join SLS
Wait for the membership to be approved (usually 2-3 business days)
Once approved, you can then add your new nipper child to your ‘Family Group’.
Once registration is complete, please forward a copy of your child’s birth certificate/passport for birth-date verification. You can submit this using this form
